Go Behind the Curtain

Experience our Backstage Tours: See the stories, spaces, and surprises that bring OPAC to life.

Backstage Tours at OPAC

Ever wondered what happens on the other side of the curtain? Step inside the Oxford Performing Arts Center for a guided tour of our historic building and working theatre.

Explore the architecture, history, and technology that make every performance possible. Walk from the lobby to the stage, visit backstage areas and dressing rooms, and discover the 1950s jail cells preserved in the building’s basement from its days as a police station.

Depending on the production schedule, you may also see a show being loaded in or prepared for the stage. Because OPAC is a working theatre, every tour offers something different.
